The Princess

To My Beloved Royalty...

Strips like this one really make me appreciate the unique dance between visual images and the written word that comics uniquely offer.

Wow Clark, I like you buddy but your sense of timing really is horrid. And Wendy's worrying me. "Angry and so sad," is she connecting Sarah's mood around her to her continued resistance, or is she thinking it's because she hasn't done a good enough job "protecting" her? That could make all the difference between Wendy actually trying harder or starting to backslide.

Wendy's facial expressions are great on this one. She looks so scared and wrung out in the first two, and then you can practically hear the snap between the third and fourth!

I must disagree. Wendy needs to realize that her child is not happy at her house. She may think she is doing what's best, but someone should point it out that she is hurting her child more then a bully could. She is coming at it with the attitude of my way or the highway and she's wrong. She keeps coustody and Sarah would only get worse

Yeah, it would probably be better if he had custody, but that doesn't mean he has to bring it up at that point in the conversation. She's definitely not going to agree to that now.
