I was just thinking of Irvine now that Movember is in full swing. I haven't really commented much before so I guess now is a good time to say how much I love this comic. It's cute and wholesome and wonderful and it makes me feel a little happier about the world.

To Kyle: I'm assuming Wendy thinks that the school still considers Sarah Seth, since she doesn't know (yet) that Sarah's presenting as a girl there. I don't think it necessarily implies a lack of support. Wendy probably would prefer that Sarah start fresh at a different school, no doubt, before she'll allow Sarah to present as a girl full time.

It could also be part of the deal she made with Clark, come to think of it.

She's been called by the school about Sarah dressing as a girl at school. She knows Sarah has done it without permission. I doubt Sarah would properly lie (she might try to hide it, but she's a crap liar so her mom would figure it out).  If she doesn't know that Sarah's been presenting as herself at school- I'm unimpressed. It means she /still/ isn't communicating with her daughter.

This warms my little genderqueer heart! It's a shame I like the name Irma so much, though, I'll miss it x)

No one's made note of this yet, but I love "Irving"'s little tribute to Archie comics and Jughead. I get the impression s/he's a comics nerd, because I didn't forget the earlier tribute to Little Lulu....

Nice! Does Irving use neutral pronouns then? I always wanted to ask but I'm guessing I'll find out anyway. Hurrah for non-binary representation and neutral language though! o/
