The Princess

To My Beloved Royalty...

I have never had to draw these expressions on Irma before.

Ooooh Irma. =[ It's so weird to see them with such serious expressions. I hope Sarah understands that they can be whatever gender they are, even if it doesn't fit into her idea of what gender is.

The part that amuses me most is considering the presentation implies they're standing over Chuck's mangled form, discussing this as he lays their bleeding. o.0

When you are genderfluid, sometimes it feels like you don't have any allies. Because people lucky enough to be born properly say you're delusional, and transgenders say you're faking it. And hearing that from transgender folks hurts more because, honestly, shouldn't you understand that you can't decide for other people what or who they are?

I'm 24 and my brother still tells me that I'm "Not really" genderfluid. I'm "Not really" because you "can't" do that. I'm "just pretending". Drives me crazy. *huff*

I think, from Sarah's point of view, Irma/Irving also has confidence up to their EARS. They can decide a different way to break out of that box every day, and woe betide anyone who gets in their way. Irma/Irving makes it look so easy that it SEEMS like they're playing a game. Not saying that it's right, but I can see why someone without that much self-confidence and bravado might be a little jealous...
