I've got big plans for three of those loose ends. I want to inject an interlude for the moment.... a little something different.... before jumping into those. A bit of a change in tone before tackling some big challenges ahead. This arc can't be told without Jules' mother playing a part.

Rest assured; Irma, Penny, and the Mystery Reporter are still out there. They are up to things that will intersect with Sarah's world in due time.

I have to admit really liking the Jules/Sarah strips. They're so cute together.

We haven't met Jules' mother yet, but I'm guessing she's a no-nonsense (but fair) type who expects excellence from her child and inspires it in others, judging from the type of person her son is.
