The Princess

To My Beloved Royalty...

I seriously spent SO much time deciding what pronoun to have Chuck use under duress. In the end, I decided on this. The first, automatic "him" followed by a begrudging "her".

Also, I usually prefer to be mysterious about the backgrounds, but I thought I'd show this one: http://www.gamefabrique.com/storage/screenshots/snes/asterix-and-obelix-03.png

I think Chuck is starting to realize how stupid he looks by referring to Sarah with male pronouns when she is clearly a girl.

That being said this is a funny page, he's so scared of Irma haha.

I almost expect Irma to say, "Oh, goody--now I can blow up the earth with my Eludium-236 Explosive Space Modulator." Smile

I imagine Irma will forgive Sarah, but knowing her it's not going to be instantly. Sarah's going to have to work long and hard to prove she's worthy of being a friend.

And yes, I do believe Chuck's coming around. He'd better, because once Irma and Sarah reconcile, you can bet Irma will make sure he uses the correct pronoun next time....

I hope Irma give's him a kick for insulting HER highness.
Chuck may end up easily as the emotional punching ball of Irma (if he not allredy is), poor little bully

Poor Chuck. His friend has changed in a way he does not grok. At least he does understand that she *is* the same person.

His transition has taken a bit longer, but he doesn't have the resources even Sarah has (a supportive family). Some of us with transgendered friends are very lucky to have had the type of nurturing that allows us to handle others' changes.
