Of course, William Tell used a crossbow, but since I doubt childrens versions of that weapon exist, then the long bow will have to do.

Poor Sarah. Being friends with Irma is not for the faint of heart. Smile

As to crossbows for kids, my brother actually built a working toy crossbow when he was nine. It fired metal soda-can pop tops rather than arrows. He was into the sword-and sorcery stuff at an early age.

Nooo!!! I can't click the next button! I guess that means I'm finally caught up with the latest strip. Oh well, now I'll have to wait for the next one like everyone else...

Christine, I just have to say I love this comic! I don't personally feel that I'm transgender (I don't think...), but I can sort of identify with Irma (and maybe Marta?). I'm physically male and I pretty much feel male, but I like feminine things and I like to crossdress. I don't switch it up like Irma does, though. I don't have days when I feel like being a guy and days when I feel like being a girl. I just always feel like a guy with a strong feminine side. It's really confusing to me because sometimes I wish I had been born a girl so I could break free and enjoy all of my interests without any judgement, but that would mean I would be female, which I don't really feel that I am. I don't know whether I'm genderqueer, gender fluid, or what, but I do know that I'm gender non-conforming and because of that, this comic is very relatable to me.

Anyway, you've got another loyal reader now, so I hope you keeping making this comic so I can continue to follow along.

I've also read the all of the strips of this webcomic and just wanna say this is one of the deepest and best written web comics I've read. Thanks a lot for all the work you've put into it!

Also, thanks for your message, ElvisS, I relate a lot with what you describe, and I also like this comic for similar reasons. Aren't we humans a complicated weird bunch? :-)
