I hope this comment-system will put my comment where it belongs -- with strip # 88...
This is beautiful.
One of the single most beautiful panels in any comic anywhere and anywhen.
Every kid deserves this much love & support & encouragement & acceptance.
And in those heartrending cases where any kid gets anything less (not to mention so much worse in far too many cases) from anyone (but especially if it's their own parents!), it's on all of us to make sure that they hear, over and over, "it gets better" -- AND that we start making it better for them immediately, in every way that we can.
Thanks for this work, which IS part of the solution.
