I know that's silly that I worry about the well being of a comic strip artist, but whatev's that's just me. Maybe I should start posting my comic strips that I've been doing for years (I keep them hidden usually). . It isn't silly to worry about people that you don't know. If you are a fan of what they do, then you have a connection. If something happens to them, you loose the connection and that is never a good feeling.
