If anything nobody hurts her more than her mother. Abuse and hatred is rarely as venomous as when it comes from a loved one. Abuse = debatable. Hatred = absolutely not. Wendy isn't afraid OF Sarah, she's afraid FOR her. She is doing the wrong things, I agree, but she's not done anything out of hatred. What makes it so painful is that, right or wrong, she's doing everything out of love for her child. As an earlier comic said, parents can have a tough time differentiating fear from love when it comes to their children. .
