To be honest, when I look at this comic... I mean, I get what you're going for, that Irma's a fairly chaotic person who is also genderfluid but... The way you're describing it reminds me of my bipolar disorder and how I(And my sister) just flit from one thing to the next in the middle of a manic phase...

Makes me very uncomfortable to see, and I'm afraid you might be getting the wrong message across by mistake.

I dunno. I have manic states, as well as a host of other issues. I take meds to help control my find flitting from topic to topic at light speed.

....is it bad for Irma to have similar moments? I dunno, I'm pulling it from within me because I can be that way. Is the worry getting that confused with her genderfluidity, which I'm less familiar with?  But if the former is part of many people's experiences, should it them be presented exclusive of gender fluidity? I can't really make a genderfluid character, and say "this character is representative of all genderfluid people" any more than Sarah or Mars represent all transgender people. Irma's attention flits, because that's who she is. She's that way because I'm that way, and all my characters have bits of me within them. I'm confused about what wrong with this portrayal....

At any rate, I will consider these issues carefully.
