Oof. Aside from Molly's bizarre obsession with Sarah's transness, Molly reminds me a lot of how I was as a kid. Maybe it's because i'm autistic, but I have a lot of memories of being called annoying & not entirely understanding the back-and-forth of conversation (i.e., I overshared a lot and sometimes had trouble keeping my mouth shut-- traits I still have to this day, though not as blatantly apparent as when I was Molly's age).


In fact, if it wasn't for Molly's dehumanization of Sarah, I'd probably be a lot more upset at the amount of hate she got. Again, that issue aside, I relate a lot to her over-exuberant, "annoying" personality & other peoples' begrudging tolerance of her
