Looking at the page source compared to previous comics that do appear, the line of HTML that has the anchor tag to the next comic and the img tag inside that anchor are simply missing. There is actually a blank line in the file where they should be.

What's going on is this.

What's going on is that this summer, I suffered a major psychiatric breakdown. I am in recovery. At the best of times, I am an imperfect being who makes mistakes. This is far from the best of times.

What's going on is that I do this strip for next to no profit. I put 8 or more hours into every strip, and I do it as a labor of love. I don't charge you a penny to read them. You get them completely free.

What's going on is that I have done this for years, missing next to no deadlines, and even when I was hanging on to the will to live by the skin of my teeth, I managed to update on schedule.

And what's going on is that I make mistakes. This isn't my first, and I assure you it won't be my last. I ask for your patience, especially in this highly difficult time in my life.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a challenging time. I'm praying that you find comfort. I appreciate your work. It has helped me to get new perspective on trans* kids, which is valuable as a children's mental health provider.

If I still had faith, I would pray for you. I recently spent some time in the hospital as well, trying to get rid of some of my heavier demons. I know how hard it can be to even wake up, let alone draw personal and heartbreaking things.
I hope you know that you have friends out there who you actually can talk to without judgement. There is no reason to carry it alone.
If nothing else, I will always be here, if you want some unload on someone, or just want an ear of silent understanding.
